I have wanted to try speckle dyed yarn for a while, so I picked up a skein of the Hawthorne Speckle from Knit Picks to give it a go. It's better than a variegated yarn, which I just don't like, but still not my favorite. Anyway, these socks turned out pretty cute. They remind me of a funfetti birthday cake.
