Last Spring I began knitting a cowl out of sock yarn... which is exactly as tedious as it sounds. I chose this pattern because it's supposed to look awesome with variegated yarn, but I'm not sure the effect is anything to write home about. Also, I don't even wear cowls.
So, all of the above signs point to frogging this beast. But... I've already put so much work into it and I'm halfway there... and someone I know would surely wear it. Right? Are these just excuses we tell ourselves? Or valid reasons to slog on?
