Maybe Monday: Nel the Tiny Owl

It's another freshstitches inspired Maybe Monday. This week I'm dreaming about making Nel the Tiny Owl. Isn't he a cutie pie?

The hardest part is going to be deciding which colors to knit him in! Spent some time flipping through project pages on Ravelry and people have done so many cute color combos. Here are some of my favorites:

I think I'll do mine in more traditional colors, like #1, though I am very tempted to do purple like #4. I love the giant eyes in #3, but I also love the baby-safe eyes in #2 and the little white glint in the eye is so cute too! Too many options! I may just have to knit more than one!
