Check out these AWESOME stripey socks by Deborah Newton in Ann Budd's book, Sock Knitting Master Class. This book looks awesome and even comes with an instructional DVD. Neato. But, anyway, I'm in love with these socks:

Why I might knit them: First, I am in love with the colors, so if I knit these I will definitely go with the recommended yarn. Beyond that, they are just cute, cute, CUTE!
