After much internal debate, I decided to frog the knotty or knice socks. I just couldn't imagine myself doing that cable pattern over and over for an entire pair of socks. I feel kind of bad about being a quitter, but I'm stressed out right now about my job and I need a non-stressful knit to relax with. So, I frogged and picked another toe-up pattern to try. I was originally going to try to preserve the toe that I already knitted, but the new pattern I picked called for a less pointy toe and I liked that look better, so I just frogged the entire thing and started from scratch.
