Darn it!

Knitting Daily posted this helpful nugget of wisdom on Wednesday about how to darn a sock. It's a really cool method - way better than the mess I made trying to fix my mom's sock the "proper" way. Basically you just weave a little patch over the hole. Nice.

p.s. Now that I think about it, I don't think I ever posted anything about when I darned my mom's sock. I think I was trying to suppress the memory or something. I basically concluded that knitting a new pair of socks would have been easier! I used this method: http://www.hjsstudio.com/darn.html
