I finally faced the beast yesterday and did the neckband on my hexacomb cardigan. I've been avoiding looking at it since the fiasco I had with it last time. This time I had the same problem with all the gaps/holes forming and I was starting to get really frustrated. I think one of my problems is that my stitches on this project are really loose or something -- especially near the edges. Anyway, I hopped online and found a few sites that recommend picking up stitches one or two rows from the edge to deal with gaps, so I did that and it looks much better!!
