This was such a fun and easy knit! I followed the pattern to the letter - right down to the yarn - and everything came out great.
knit picks shine sport in grass and green apple
60% pima cotton, 40% modal
50g/110 yd per ball @ $2.49 each
9 mm black eyes from Zims $0.99 for 8
pattern: "Sheldon" by Ruth Homrighaus found here: http://knitty.com/ISSUEwinter06/PATTsheldon.html
gauge: 25x34 per 4'' on size 4's
needles: dpns in 3&4
hook: D (first time crocheting! yay!)
hours: several... maybe 10?
yarn used: almost all of the grass, maybe half the green apple
total cost: $5.25
- love, love, love this yarn!!! There is a reason I sleep in modal sheets....
- attached i-cord on shell sort of rolls up?? Maybe next time experiment to get it to roll down.
And a bonus: he comes apart!
